Lockheed Martin order first RTS system
MK Test systems is very pleased to announce receipt of the first RTS ® order from Lockheed Martin.
The system will be implemented in the aerospace and defence corporation’s Fort Worth, TX site. It is expected to be the first of multiple orders for RTS, MK’s modular wire harness test system.
MK Sales Manager, Steve Hill said “Lockheed needed a system to meet their testing requirements for future developments. After a long look at several options, they determined the RTS system was just what they needed. This is just the start of a long relationship between Lockheed Martin and MK Test.”
The award-winning RTS (Real Time Scanning) system was launched to market in 2020 on the A320 FAL at Airbus Toulouse. It offers high-speed automatic testing using an innovative modular form factor, enabling real time diagnosis of electrical faults in wire harnesses. Benefits of RTS compared to a standard rack-based include instant visual reporting of faults, reduced number of interface cables, and faster overall test time.
