Subsea

We’ll stop you drowning under the weight of subsea test requirements.

Subsea electrical interconnect systems are deployed to extreme depths where failure is catastrophic and has massive financial consequences.

Our systems have been developed to manage these requirements, with features such as API and third party test system integration for peace of mind and simpler test processes.

High voltage and high current testing at high pressure? We can help.

Electrical interconnect systems often carry high current and high voltage, and are deployed to extreme depths - failure is catastrophic and has massive financial consequences.

These interconnect systems experience extreme pressure and temperature cycling during power on and power off.  Our subsea testing equipment can work independently to test continuity and insulation, or work in conjunction with pressure vessels and climate chambers.

Additionally, our advanced API allows full control from third party software, or the software can be deployed to control third party devices.

Did you know? The first transcontinental cable was laid in 1858 and ran from Ireland to Newfoundland.  Today, 99% of all internet traffic travels through the 1.1million km subsea cable network.  That's a lot of potential for failure.

TE Seacon chose Automeg for testing their HV subsea connectors and assemblies.

TE Seacon, world leaders in the manufacture of electrical underwater mateable connectors, chose the Automeg solution to test HV (high voltage) subsea connectors and cable assemblies for the offshore Oil and Gas industry.

Seacon’s connectors are designed to meet the joint industry SEPS standard for subsea power connectors, jumpers, and assemblies.  The Automeg also meets these standards, ensuring TE Seacon and other subsea customers can continue to provide high quality componentry.
