Jason Evans, Managing Director
Jason has been Sales Director and a member of the senior leadership team at MK Test for twenty of the company’s thirty-one year history. On 1st January 2023, he took on the role of Managing Director.
Leading the sales team and business growth efforts, Jason’s primary area of expertise is in technical application of capital business development across Aerospace, Defence and Rail industries.
With a wealth of industry knowledge and global contacts built up over his career, Jason is a trusted authority within the automatic electrical testing sector and has led the effort to position MK Test as a prime supplier, supporting many of the world’s leading Aerospace, Defence and Rail OEMs and projects.

Nick Baker, Engineering Director
Nick joined MK Test Systems in 2016; he was appointed Engineering Director in July 2025. In this role, he leads the strategic development of several new product lines for major civil aircraft manufacturers, drawing on the skills and expertise of MK Test’s team of 27 engineers. Previously, Nick spent five years as New Product Development Manager, leading a team of five dedicated NPD engineers. In 2011, with a view to deepening his technical knowledge, Nick enrolled at the University of Portsmouth to study Electronic System Engineering, achieving a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours. He went on to complete a Master of Science in Embedded Systems and Wireless Communications at the University of the West of England in 2013. Nick’s education and career have given him extensive knowledge and experience in the field, making him a specialist in the design of both hardware and embedded firmware for electronic systems.

David Watson, Head of IT and Software Development Manager
David joined MK Test in October 2017 and is now Head of IT and Software Development Manager. In this role, he oversees the company’s IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital strategy, while continuing to lead the team of ten software engineers responsible for MK’s test management software. Before joining MK Test, David worked as a Software Engineer in the pharmaceutical industry. An experienced Software Development Manager, David’s interests lie in the design and implementation of complex software applications. He enjoys solving problems and tackling new technical challenges, making him a key contributor to MK Test’s innovation, security, and digital growth.
